Introduction

If you have been to a café recently you might have been treated to more than a good cup of coffee.

A new trend, which is really just a new twist on an old idea, is the display of artistic talent of some sort, within the café and restaurant scene. Now, couple this with the Internet and the popularity of sites like BlogTV, MySpace and You Tube and you have a very unique set of opportunities to display and share talent to a mass market.  Talent that is young, creative, but hopelessly incapable of marketing their creations and talents.

The other side of this equation is the café owner.  They may enjoy helping out this young talent for several reasons:

Modern cafés and restaurants have attracted a far more expressive style of clientèle.  While some may enjoy sharing, most do not; but, of those who don't, there is a huge number that are entertained by the artistic expression presented for their enjoyment.  Such an atmosphere of sharing creates a sense of community in the establishment, which brings customers back over and over again.

On-line we can get a similar set of results from those who just want to share their creations with others across the country, around the world or maybe just down the block, from the comfort of their own home.  This creates the possibility of a wide range of content for the  café patrons to enjoy.
