Cafe Share Site Map
The idea is to allow the sharing of all types of media in the café and simultaneously broadcast to the web. For media types such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF or other types of picture formats the software can be as simple as a web directory on FaceBook or MySpace, which gives the ability to share such content. Similarly, sites like YouTube allow the sharing of video media and BlogTV will host (for free) a web broadcast.
However, each of the free solutions mentioned require input and maintenance from the user. In order to make this system useful to a busy café owner they must be self-serve. Allowing the clientèle of the establishment the ability to add their own content to a rotating queue of offerings for the day. The software would be configurable to the needs of the business. So that, after some period of time, the content is deleted from their server and from the business web account.
Customers who carry in their own wireless equipped computers, and many do these days, would be able to drag and drop content into a common share point, available on the café's network. The software determines the media type and puts it into a queue for sharing with the audience, both in the café and on the web. After playing/ displaying the contribution a set number of times it would be automatically erased from the server.

In the café itself there needs to be equipment to process the media and display it. This solution calls for:

- Wide screen TV or monitor and surround sound for the enjoyment of café patrons
- Base computer to run the CaféShare software
- Web cameras to capture the action within the café
